Less Expensive than the Regal – EVERYTHING

So to see a new movie I go, Toy Story 3 3D to be precise. Needless to say I don’t go alone, but not as a group either. I get to the counter. ”That will be $27″, ”No no no just TWO please”.
WOW! How is the average kid making $7.50/hr supposed to take a girl out on a date? Especially when you add to that $12.50 for a medium pop/popcorn combo! Yep that’s right, you’re up to $50 for the evening and you didn’t even do dinner!
Maybe I’m an “old timer” but in a time of economic stagnancy tell me how an increase in entertainment, something people can live without, is justified.
(Yes the base price of the ticket was $10 + a $3.50 upcharge for 3D. INSANE!)
