Greatest Invention of All Time – Wall Climbing Robots

In my new series, Greatest Invention of All Time,  I will discuss some of the most influential inventions in history.  The difficulty in starting a series with such a lofty goal is where to start.  I always thought the answer to that would be easy, like fire or the wheel, or perhaps a little more modern like the assembly line; its not that easy though.  Not when there is something lurking up your wall vying for this top spot as first in the series: Wall Climbing Robots.

“Wall Climbing Robots?!?  Why didn’t I think of that?  That must be the greatest invention of all time!”  If you have ever said that before, please place a comment in the comment box along with your exact GPS coordinates so the paddy wagon to the funny farm can find you more quickly.

But really are Wall Climbing Robots worthy of being mocked here publicly in this sarcastic column?  No, there are many practical uses for wall climbing robots.  Examples include: washing windows, changing billboards and of course scaling walls.  What really earns a specific wall climbing robot top honors in the sarcastic “Greatest Invention of All Time” award series is the use of hot glue guns to scale said wall.  Nothing says discreet like leaving a dripping molten hot trail of epoxy on a wall.

By now you’re saying, he’s making this up.  Don’t believe me?  Click over here
