Minimum Wage – Less Expensive than the Regal
February 5, 2010mike No Comments »This may not come as a surprise to anyone, but an hour of work at minimum wage is not enough to buy a ticket to the Regal… sure you could work two hours and afford that ticket to the show, but that date is surely not going past second base since you can’t afford a second ticket! Sure minimum wage was just raised to $7.25 and hour and depending on where you are that may be around the cost of a ticket to the Regal, but after you take out State and Federal Taxes, Social Security, Medicare, and all that jazz out of your hourly, and then pay sales tax on your Regal ticket… you are going to have to pick up some overtime to fund that excursion!
So get working High Schoolers, College Kids, and everybody else who is going to end up spending a days work to go see the latest (and crappiest) flick by Alfred Hitchcock or whoever directs films these days!
Minimum wage, Less Expensive than the Regal!
