There is no fuzzy math, no amortization charts, nothing here.  Redbox is WAY less expensive than the Regal.  Like its not even funny.  You can walk to your local grocery store touch a touchscreen, swipe your credit card and ONE DOLLAR later you get a DVD (new release, old release, you name it) until 9PM the next day which can be more than 24 hours.  So yes you can get TEN Redbox movies for the cost of a Regal ticket.  Sure you have to wait 3 months until the movie comes out on DVD but just think if you put that money in a 3 month CD you could probably afford an 11th movie or the tax with the interest you made.  And if you’re the cool kid on the block with the 47 inch 1080p LCD with 7.1 surround sound, you can invite 10 of your closest friends to see District 9 and guess what?  It’s still only ONE DOLLAR!
