Trip to the Moon – Less Expensive than the Regal

The first in the series will most likely seem like the most outlandish, but is it?
The Apollo 11 mission that first landed man on the moon started many years earlier in May of 1961 when JFK gave his famed speech. Over the next 8 years and 2 months the cost of that promise would end up being around $355 million, or as we’re concerned with just under $10,000 for every two hour movie made about that mission since! Wow, that’s expensive, but is it more expensive than the Regal? Of course not. Right now in every midsize metropolitan area there is a theater blasting surround sound across 18+ screens sitting 250 people a piece paying about $10 for their tickets to be there for just two hours or less. The Regal managed to rake in $45,000 in that same amount of time, not including popcorn, candy or that three dollar cup of Coke, the Regal could fund over four trips to the moon in the same amount of time at just one of their nearly 550 theaters!
