Limitations

Everyone and everything has limitations… many are constructs of the mind and can be overcome with dedication.  Some are physical limitations… human beings cannot fly… though if you ask the Wright Brothers that was a limit of the mind as well.  Many limits are limits of necessity.  So often does our society fail to progress out of a perceived lack of need.  The classic “chicken or the egg” syndrome.  I don’t need a flying car because they don’t exist.  A flying car is not developed because there is no demand.  An extreme example, but one which sums up society.  There is so much more that could be done with the talents and resources we have already developed that it seems we are only limited by the chicken and not by the egg, or is it the other way?  Either way, if there is anything we learn from this it as that the entrepreneur is the person most responsible for our progress and it is he who overcomes his limitations and risks it all to move society forward.  The man who makes the chicken despite no egg who moves us ever forward into the future.
