Maybe its just me…

… I am a little biased (some people are saying… a little!)  But what are three of the four US cellular carries doing?  Right now you’re asking, who’s the lucky one who is doing it right?  And many of you will probably guess wrong.  Sprint.  Sprint?  WTF !  Sprint is so behind the times, so expensive, crappy coverage, that’s what “They” say.  (that’s the same “they” who say Honda’s rule who are featured in the latest Chevy commercial)  Well “They” are wrong as usual.  Sprint has the cheapest, and only all in plan.  The Simply Everything Plan for $99.99 (includes well simply everything) and now with the new Any Mobile Any Time Plan for $69.99 their two year cost of ownership on their flagship phone the Palm Pre is still the best (by far).  And then what happens?  Palm and Sprint announce the new Palm Pixi with webOS (to replace the old Centro).  Now what?  AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon, where are your Palm webOS phones???  You’re lagging two behind.  iPhone where is your multitasking?  Android, where is your market penetration? Blackberry where is your fun?  At the end of the day I think the two year cost of ownership with the Palms on Sprint will be the big draw, that and the fact that Palm did something Apple is known for doing… play off your underdog status, release something slick and sexy and catch everyone offguard, rinse and repeat.  What are “They” saying now?  Well just Google “Palm Pre”, “Palm webOS” or “Palm Pixi” and you might be surprised.
