The Widget Wingnutter Patent

No this is not an April Fools Joke.  I wish it were.  I just wanted to “dislike” something.  Patent applications for things that have: A. No practical purpose.  B. No ability to be made.  C. A group of idiots patenting something a legitimate company could make if there wasn’t a patent already out for it.

See the patent for dual touch screen that Apple is filing suit against HTC for.  How do you patent a concept, and not just a concept, but a BROAD concept.  I would like to file a patent right now for 10 finger touchscreens, and then one for 20 finger touchscreens for two player games!  Like WTF.  How can you patent something like that?  No you can’t use two fingers on a screen because Apple said you couldn’t unless it was on their yet to be released fictional phone that would come out six years later. (back when they patented it)

Today I patent through this post “The Widget Wingnutter”  what does it do?  Everything that has yet to be done.  I hereby patent everything that has yet to be done including: light speed space travel, teleportation and anything that has ever been seen in the future on a scifi show!  There done… now you owe me royalties for that new invention you’re working on.

Its sad when patents, designed to protect inventors’ intellectual property just hinders inventors from actually coming out with real, tangible, legitimate products.
